Menjadi seorang ibu memiliki tanggung jawab, perjuangan, dan tantangan yang tak mudah dilalui dalam mendidik dan membesarkan anaknya, terlebih jika merangkap menjadi working mom atau ibu pekerja. Berbagai kewajiban dirumah yang harus dilakukan yang seolah tak ada habisnya dan tugas-tugas kantor yang juga menyita waktu dan emosi setiap harinya membuat ibu harus dapat membagi peran sebaik-baiknya. Dilema seringkali dirasakan bagi para working mom. Saat dikantor kepikiran anak dirumah, saat dirumah kepikiran deadline pekerjaan. Seakan ingin membelah diri berada di dua tempat secara bersamaan.

Dari data-data diatas terlihat bahwa jumlah working mom cukup mendominasi hampir di seluruh dunia. Memilih menjadi seorang working mom bukanlah merupakan pilihan yang mudah. Memilih bukan berarti salah atau benar, melainkan adanya konsekuensi yang akan dihadapai baik bagi dirinya, anak, dan keluarga. Yuk yang pertama kita bahas, apa saja ya konsekuensi atau dampak dari working mom untuk anak-anaknya?
Working mom telah menghabiskan banyak waktu dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas dari tempat kerja. Penelitian lain yang dilakukan oleh National Institute of Child Health and Development menunjukan bahwa anak dari working mom memiliki pencapaian akademis yang lebih tinggi, karier yang lebih sukses, serta menghasilkan skor kognitif yang lebih tinggi. Hal ini disebabkan working mom memiliki kestabilan finansial yang lebih baik sehingga dapat memberikan fasilitas yang memadai untuk anak. Waktu yang terbatas dan tuntutan pekerjaan juga membuat working mom berusaha lebih efisien dalam mendampingi tumbuh kembang anak sehingga menajdi lebih sensitif dengan kebutuhannya. Working mom yang bisa menjadikan waktu keluarga sebagai prioritas dan berkomitmen untuk perkembangan anak mereka mampu membangun ikatan yang sehat dengan anak layaknya ibu yang tidak bekerja.

Namun dibalik adanya dampak positif working mom bagi anaknya, ada juga konsekuensi yang dirasakan oleh ibu sebagai individu. National Park calls out ‘world changing’ impact of dropped Cheetos bag

Plain water is the only thing visitors are allowed to consume inside the huge cavern at Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico. Cheetos are a no-go, and the recent park visitor who dropped a bag full of them created a “huge impact” on the cave’s ecosystem, the park said Friday in a Facebook post.
“At the scale of human perspective, a spilled snack bag may seem trivial, but to the life of the cave it can be world changing,” the park said in its post about the garbage found off-trail in the Big Room.

“The processed corn, softened by the humidity of the cave, formed the perfect environment to host microbial life and fungi. Cave crickets, mites, spiders and flies soon organize into a temporary food web, dispersing the nutrients to the surrounding cave and formations. Molds spread higher up the nearby surfaces, fruit, die and stink. And the cycle continues.”
The park said rangers spent 20 minutes carefully removing molds and foreign debris from surfaces inside the cave, noting that while some members of the ecosystem that rose from the snacks were cave-dwellers “many of the microbial life and molds are not.”
The post called that particular impact on the cave “completely avoidable,” contrasting it with the hard-to-prevent fine trails of lint left by each visitor.
“Great or small we all leave an impact wherever we go. Let us all leave the world a better place than we found it,” the post urged park goers.
The park’s website says that eating and drinking anything other than plain water attracts animals into the cavern.
Carlsbad Caverns followed up its post about the Cheetos bag with a post about the “leave no trace” principle of disposing of waste properly.
“Contrary to popular belief, the cave is NOT a big trash can,” the post said, yet rangers pick up waste left behind every day.
“Sometimes this can be a gum wrapper or a tissue, other times it can unfortunately mean human waste, spit, or chewing tobacco.” Visitors are asked to make sure they don’t leave trash in the cavern and to use designated restrooms.

The wrecks of explosives-laden Nazi ships sunk in the Danube River during World War II have emerged near Serbia’s river port town of Prahovo, after a drought in July and August that saw the river’s water level drop.
Four vessels dating from before 1950 have also come to light in Hungary’s Danube-Drava National Park near Mohacs, where the Danube’s water level stood at only 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) on Tuesday, the lingering effect of severe heat waves and persistent drought in July and August.
The vessels revealed in Prahovo were among hundreds scuttled along the Danube by Nazi Germany’s Black Sea fleet in 1944 as they retreated from advancing Soviet forces, destroying the ships themselves. The wrecks can hamper river traffic during low water levels.
Strewn across the riverbed, some of the ships still have turrets, command bridges, broken masts and twisted hulls, while others lie mostly submerged under sandbanks.
Endre Sztellik, a guard at the Danube-Drava national park, said of one of the ships, “we still don’t know what this is exactly. What is visible and an unfortunate fact is that the wreck is diminishing as people are interested in it and parts of it are going missing.”
The Danube stood at 1.17 meters (3.8 feet) in Budapest on Tuesday, which compares with an all-time record low of around 0.4 meters (1.3 feet) registered in October 2018. During floods, the Danube rises well above 6 meters (19.7 feet).
“Eastern Europe is experiencing critical drought conditions that are affecting crops and vegetation,” the European climate service Copernicus said on its website in its latest drought report, published earlier this month.

В конце декабря в Москве по инициативе депутатов Государственной думы Сергея Крючка и Олега Нилова прошел круглый стол о перспективах жилищной кооперации для решения жилищной проблемы в России. Большой интерес вызвала модель жилищных кооперативов, обходящегося без государственной поддержки и подразумевающая покупку только готового, а не строящегося жилья.
Депутат Государственной думы Олег Нилов подчеркнул, что кооперативы существовали еще в советские времена, это позитивный опыт, который нуждается в государственной поддержке — ведь это способ беспроцентной покупки объектов недвижимости вскладчину. — Опыт Германии свидетельствует о том, что он очень эффективен, — заявил депутат Государственной думы Сергей Крючек, — Там очень большой объем жилья приобретается за счет кооперативного финансирования, а не ипотеки. Это альтернативный источник финансирования решения жилищного вопроса.
Присутствовавший на круглом столе практик жилищной кооперации — председатель правления жилищного кооператива “Бест Вей” Роман Василенко подчеркнул, что возглавляемый им кооператив как раз является примером решения квартирного вопроса без государственного финансирования и при этом с минимальной переплатой.
— Квартира, приобретенная кооперативом, обойдется существенно дешевле ипотечной. Переплата, связана с внесением вступительного и членских взносов, по наиболее типичным квартирам — стоимостью 3,5-4 млн рублей, составит примерно 10-15%.
По его словам, жилищная кооперация в России имеет давнюю историю. Дореволюционная Россия была первой в мире по числу кооперативов в мире. Жилищные кооперативы были распространены и в советское время. В пореформенный период был избран американской путь — акцент на ипотеку. Но он себя не оправдал — так как ипотеку получить довольно тяжело и число нуждающихся в качественном жилье сокращается медленно.
Кооперативное же финансирование получить, наоборот, легко. Нет таких требований, как хорошая кредитная история, не требуется подтвержденный доход.
Что касается возрастных ограничений, то пайщику должно исполниться 16 лет, верхних ограничений для вступления в кооператив нет. Залоговой частью выступает сама квартира: пока пайщик полностью не рассчитается с кооперативом, она находится в собственности кооператива, то есть в собственности всех пайщиков. Как только пайщик рассчитался с кооперативом, он получает право регистрации перехода права собственности на квартиру.
— В развитии жилищных кооперативов нужно правильно расставить акценты: выбрать форму, нуждающуюся в приоритетной поддержке. Есть жилищно-строительные кооперативы — это как раз случай Су-155. И есть жилищные кооперативы. Some seismologists thought their instruments were broken when they started picking up vibrations through the ground back in September, said Stephen Hicks, a study co-author and a seismologist at University College London.

Sean Combs, the music mogul whose career has been upended by sexual assault lawsuits and a federal investigation, was arrested at a Manhattan hotel on Monday evening after a grand jury indicted him.
The indictment is sealed and the charges were not announced but Marc Agnifilo, a lawyer for Mr. Combs, said he believed he was being charged with racketeering and sex trafficking.
A statement from Mr. Combs’s legal team said they were disappointed with the decision to prosecute him and noted that he had been cooperative with the investigation and had “voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges.”

Even though 200,000 vaccines, donated by the European Commission, were flown into the capital, Kinshasa, last week, they are yet to be transported across this vast country – and it could be several weeks before they reach South Kivu.
“We’ve learned from social media that the vaccine is already available,” Emmanuel Fikiri, a nurse working at the clinic that has been turned into a specialist centre to tackle the virus, told the BBC.
He said this was the first time he had treated patients with mpox and every day he feared catching it and passing it on to his own children – aged seven, five and one.
“You saw how I touched the patients because that’s my job as a nurse. So, we’re asking the government to help us by first giving us the vaccines.”
The reason it will take time to transport the vaccines is that they need to be stored at a precise temperature – below freezing – to maintain their potency, plus they need to be sent to rural areas of South Kivu, like Kamituga, Kavumu and Lwiro, where the outbreak is rife.
The lack of infrastructure and bad roads mean that helicopters could possibly be used to drop some of the vaccines, which will further drive up costs in a country that is already struggling financially.
At the community clinic, Dr Pacifique Karanzo appeared fatigued and downbeat having been rushed off his feet all morning.
Although he wore a face shield, I could see the sweat running down his face. He said he was saddened to see patients sharing beds.
“You will even see that the patients are sleeping on the floor,” he told me, clearly exasperated.
“The only support we have already had is a little medicine for the patients and water. As far as other challenges are concerned, there’s still no staff motivation.”

Присутствовавший на круглом столе практик жилищной кооперации — председатель правления жилищного кооператива “Бест Вей” Роман Василенко подчеркнул, что возглавляемый им кооператив как раз является примером решения квартирного вопроса без государственного финансирования и при этом с минимальной переплатой.
— Квартира, приобретенная кооперативом, обойдется существенно дешевле ипотечной. Переплата, связана с внесением вступительного и членских взносов, по наиболее типичным квартирам — стоимостью 3,5-4 млн рублей, составит примерно 10-15%.
По его словам, жилищная кооперация в России имеет давнюю историю. Дореволюционная Россия была первой в мире по числу кооперативов в мире. Жилищные кооперативы были распространены и в советское время. В пореформенный период был избран американской путь — акцент на ипотеку. Но он себя не оправдал — так как ипотеку получить довольно тяжело и число нуждающихся в качественном жилье сокращается медленно.
Кооперативное же финансирование получить, наоборот, легко. Нет таких требований, как хорошая кредитная история, не требуется подтвержденный доход.
Что касается возрастных ограничений, то пайщику должно исполниться 16 лет, верхних ограничений для вступления в кооператив нет. Залоговой частью выступает сама квартира: пока пайщик полностью не рассчитается с кооперативом, она находится в собственности кооператива, то есть в собственности всех пайщиков. Как только пайщик рассчитался с кооперативом, он получает право регистрации перехода права собственности на квартиру.
— В развитии жилищных кооперативов нужно правильно расставить акценты: выбрать форму, нуждающуюся в приоритетной поддержке. Есть жилищно-строительные кооперативы — это как раз случай Су-155. И есть жилищные кооперативы. Нет рисков, характерных, например, для ЖСК — рисков того, что ликвидный объект недвижимости, гарантирующий выплату пая пайщику, который примет решение выйти из кооператива, не будет создан — потому что дом по тем или иным причинам не будет достроен.
ЖК, сказал Василенко, покупают только готовые квартиры — на первичном или вторичном рынке, с зарегистрированным правом собственности, причем, квартиры, прошедшие тщательную юридическую проверку и независимую оценку рыночной стоимости.
